Project 1C — Inventory & the Full Game
Checkpoint 3 of 3 — the finish line. Open your Project 1B notebook and keep building from there. Today you add an inventory to your adventure, and then debug a version of your own game with a few deliberately planted bugs before final submission. By the end, you'll have one complete, playable game in your portfolio.
Requirements
- Start from your Project 1B code
- An inventory list that starts with at least one item
- An
.append()somewhere in your adventure, and a place the inventory gets printed - Plant 2–3 bugs on purpose in a copy of your working code, then debug them one at a time — same skills as 1.8
Aiming higher? The notebook lists Tier 2 and Tier 3 stretch goals — an inventory that actually affects the story, removing items too, and a short written postmortem on your trickiest bug.
Getting Started
Download the project notebook and paste or rebuild your 1B code into it as your starting point. Save it into your 1_foundations folder in your cloned repo, and commit once you've saved it.
Before you submit: run your final, de-bugged version top to bottom at least twice with different choices. This is the version that goes in your portfolio as your Unit 1 deliverable.
